The SEAT Altea Ecomotive range have been designed to stay within the 119 g/km emission limit.
SEAT achieved this by developing a 1.6 TDI common rail diesel engine producing 105 PS. Developed to provide quiet and smooth yet spirit performance, the new diesel engines can go from 0-60 mph in 12.4 seconds and reach a top speed 114 mph. Fuel consumption has also been improved with up to 62.8 miles per gallon achieved on the combined cycle.
Consider the integrated Start/Stop system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. This means the engine automatically switches off when the vehicle isn't moving, and starts again once your journey resumes. Or the gearshift indicator, which lowers fuel consumption by telling you exactly when to change gears. Not to forget the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to reduce harmful emissions.
